The Nazis desired strong government and extensive state power. A totalitarian government must have the power to control the press and unions, restrict civil liberties, manage education and employ propaganda. Nazism was chiefly a nationalist ideology. Hitler considered military strength essential for expanding the German state. Hitler and the Nazis dreamed of unifying the German-speaking Aryan peoples of Europe into a greater German state. Both Nazism and fascism considered themselves ‘third-way’ ideologies, or alternatives to both democracy and socialism. Hitler frequently spoke of protecting long-standing German values, including Christian beliefs and volkisch connections to the land. The Nazis considered races like Jews, Slavs and Romany to be untermensch (‘inferior men’).
According to Forbes news, “Winston Churchill believed World War II should have been called “the Unnecessary War.” As he explained it, “there never was a war easier to stop than that [World War II].” Instead, the world suffered the bloodiest conflict in human history. During the 1930s, the West had numerous chances to take decisive action against Hitler. They did not. Poor Western leadership allowed the Nazi menace to grow to monstrous proportions. This catastrophic failure in leadership offers important lessons for decision-makers today.”
Neo-Nazism conceived in military regime after nation-wide strike for democracy in the name of protecting Buddhism and anti-Muslims propaganda. Regime has tried to control power through 2008 constitution. Neo-Nazism was materialized fully with the formation of Association for the Protection of Race and Religion (MaBaTha) by the military regime. It has been fully functioning by the direction of Chinese President Xi Jinping to complete Golden Gas Project which was opposed by Rakhine ethnics in 2011.
Myanmar has officially been involved in Chinese President Xi Jinping’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), shaping future relations between the neighboring nations. Using Neo-Nazism, military regime persuaded Rakhine politicians to eliminate Rohingya from Rakhine State and started massacre of Rohingya in the name of communal violence in May 2012. China which has experienced of genocidal intend against Uyghur Muslims is also behind the Rohingya genocide with military generals of Burma.
The nature of MaBaTha and the extent of its popularity are widely misunderstood by the majority Buddhist public for the protection and promotion of Buddhism as regime systematically propagate essential of MaBaTha. It enjoys widespread grassroots support despite government-led attempts to undermine its religious authority during NLD government. Brig-Gen Zaw Min Tun said that, despite the widely-held perception of Ma Ba Tha as an anti-Muslim organization, it is essential and the organization’s only intention is to protect race and religion.
Genocidal intend of military regime against Rohingya reached its peak in 2016 and 2017. Hundreds of thousands of Rohingya fled military assaults in 2016 and 2017 in which soldiers killed indiscriminately, raped women and torched houses, according to a U.N. fact-finding mission. When Myanmar’s Aung San Suu Kyi and her ruling National League for Democracy have clinched a second consecutive landslide win in national elections, though she tried to protect military leaders at the ICJ court, military junta considered the election result as their failure of implementing neo-Nazism of their own.
For this reason, General Min Aung Hlaing seized power on 1st February, 2021, although a U.N. independent fact-finding mission urged prosecution in 2018 for Min Aung Hlaing and other top military officials for genocide of Rohingya Muslims in the Rakhine, Kachin and Shan states of Myanmar. More than 500 people have been killed in the Myanmar junta’s brutal crackdown on protests against its coup.
Biggest Rakhine political party cooperates with military junta called State Administration Council when the whole population of Burma stood for protest against it. Why? There many reasons of Rakhine’s cooperation with military junta one of them is Rohingya issue. None of the current Rakhine politician wants to use the term “Rohingya. They even forced Aung San Suu Kyi to release an official book against history of Rohingya and to call them Bengali which is similar to Nazis’ nickname against Jews. According to Neo-Nazism of Burma, every Muslim is Bengali and mixed blood. Though she denied the term Rohingya she never used Bengali for Rohingya. No Rohingya hates Rakhine but all Rakhine politicians have plans against Rohingya why?
I even wrote about it in 2012 mentioned below link.
Among the ethnic armed groups in Myanmar, the Arakan Army(AA) has made remarkable progress in a short period of time. There are some positive points that pushed AA to be strong compare to other ethnic armed forces , but the Rakkhita path mentioned by AA General Tun Myat Naing for the unification of all Rakhine political and social groups can be a barrier or controversial issue for federal democratic Burma and Rohingyas’ destiny. Based on Tun Myat Naing’s political slogan “Rakkhita Path”, all Rakhine groups could successfully unify even though they have different political and social policies.
What is the Rakkhita Path? How does it become a powerful slogan for the unification of Rakhine? When I enquire the meaning, purpose and consequences of Rakkhita Path, I was shock. Tun Myat Naing explained in his speech that Rakkhita Path means the middle path mentioned by Gautama Buddha in Buddhist scripture of Tripitika.
In this video general Tun Myat Naing urged his comrades to build Fatherland of Rakhine based on Rakkhita Path.
The AA was formed in 2011 and adhered Rakkhita Path as AA’s new political theory. Rakhine State Communist Party (ACP), Rakhine strongest political Party ANP, Arakan National Liberation Army (ANLP), Ethnic National Party (TNP), the Democratic Forces for Democracy (NDFA) have joined the AA because all of them are influenced by the Rakkhita. The unification of the Rakhine people is a good sign for the development of Rakhine State, but the AA’s political policy is exactly the same concept of MaBaTha and it poses a great danger for other ethnic live in Rakhine State in future.
In this modern World, there are only two established political system: communism and democracy. Communist, Socialist and Dictatorship become less popular on Earth even though two Veto power holders in UNSC still grasp dictatorship. Modern people like democracy and secularism. Fascist Nazism based on ultra-nationalism remains as a bad reputation. Religious Iran is degenerating. General Tun Myat Naing fully understands political science and well-established political theories. Why does he prefer the Rakkhita Path?
According to the Pali dictionary, rakkhitatta means “Rakkhita + ego = a body to be guarded.”
According to Hindu scriptures Rakshita means Protection.
rakṣita (रक्षित) .— p (S) Preserved, kept, protected, guarded.
rakṣita (रक्षित) .— p Preserved, kept, guarded
However, General Tun Myat Naing and Rakhine politicians have repeatedly said that the Rakkhita Path means the middle path mentioned by Gautama Buddha in Buddhist scripture of Tripitika. I have studied in the Tripitika about “Dhammarakkhita, Sangha Rakkhita and Buddha Rakkhita” referring to protect Buddhist law, ethic of monks and teaching of Buddha. There is no such word “Rakkhita Path” in the meaning of middle path. In reality, Rakkhita Path of AA is nothing more than MaBaTha ,the Association for Protection of Race and Religion.
Burma got independence based on Panglong Agreement of 1947 organized by General Aung San, father of Aung San Suu Kyi but Rakhine rejected the agreement. According to that agreement, full autonomy in internal administration of the Frontier Areas was to be accepted in principle and Rohingyas deserve it. That is another reason of denial of Rohingyas for Rakhine. During five years period of semi-civilian government of NLD, MaBaTha became less popular among the majority Buddhists but Rakkhita Path becomes popular among the Rakhine Buddhists. Impact of Rakkhita Path increased discrimination against Rohingyas and Kaman Muslims. Kaman leaders appealed Daw Aung San Suu Kyi to restore their educational and movement rights like Rakhine and resettle Kaman in KyaukPyu IDPs in their own places but Rakhine politicians strongly opposed to so.
All UN organization including WFP and INGOs including MSF were also attacked by Rakhine mobs who were brainwashed through Rakkhita Path. I did appeal World leaders about Neo-Nazism in 2012 too.
There might be some unknown policies of AA in sending two Burmese soldiers to Netherlands, cooperation of biggest Rakhine Party, ANP, with State Administration Council, releasing of Dr.Aye Maung, General Tun Myat Naing’s brothers and all AA members in the prisons and ceasefire between AA and Myanmar military.
However, General Than Shwe, Ex-general Khin Nyunt, General Aung Kyaw Zaw, Aye Ne Win (grandson of Ne Win), Dr.Aye Maung, Dr.Aye Chan, Zaw Htay, (Aung San Suu Kyi’s spokesperson), Khin Yee(former immigration minister), Ye Htut (former minister of information), Maung Maung Soe (former chief western command), Thura San Lwin (former commander of border guard police), General Kyaw Swe, Lt.Gen Ye Aung (Minister of Border affairs), General Soe Win, Monk Wirathu, Monk Sitagu, Myint Swe (Vice President), Shwe Mann (former speaker of PyiThuHluttaw), Thein Sein (former president), General Min Aung Hlaing, Thaung Tun ( Myanmar National Security Advisor) and Brig-Gen Zaw Min Tun are the key players for Rohingya genocide and Neo-Nazism in the name of MaBaTha.
Like Nazis of Germany State Administration Council and AA also desire strong totalitarian: SAC has determined that military junta must have the power to control the press and unions, restrict civil liberties, manage education and employ propaganda. Both MaBaTha way of SAC and Rakkhita Path of AA are nationalist ideologies. Both of them considered military strength essential for controlling non-Buddhists by dreaming of unifying the Buddhists. Both Min Aung Hlaing and Rakhine politicians considered western style democracy is not suitable for them.
As Hitler frequently spoke of protecting long-standing German values, Military junta and Rakhine politicians also speak protecting Buddhism and nation . The Nazis considered races like Jews, Slavs and Romany to be untermensch (‘inferior men’). Military Junta and Rakhine politicians considered Rohingyas must not exist.
